This document looks to answer the following user story:
Users currently viewing a document's feed can only see activity specific to that document. The only way for them to see activity from the entire site is to go to the home document, which may not contain content they are interested in. They simply want to see the entire site's activity.
The best solution for this is for the feed to be able to display both the document's feed and the entire site's feed.
Library as a Document Directory and Activity Hub
This tries to answer to both user stories at the same to Crete the best navigation and reading experience for both readers and owners.
The current library tries to cover the job of a directory as it can display the document that are inside every site as well as show you a glimpse of the lates activity in every document. Still this experience can be improved with a better detailed display of the library that can help you navigate though content and activity.
When clicking on a library item it should open the site in a reader mode with the directory displayed for navigation as well as the sites activity.
Clicking on the open site will take you to the normal view to star editing if you want.
Clicking on an element on the directory will navigate the user to that specific document.
The user will also be able to change if the want to see theta documents specific activity or the entire sites activity as the browse thought he site.
Going back in the upper corner of the library will take the directory filtered view back to the list of all sites so the user can read and navigate though other sites.
