Blockquotes are annoying. Especially in comments when replying. You can't have them on the top level, because blockquote is a "bullet type" defined by the parent block, instead of being its own block type. It's funny that we made quotes this way, but made code blocks a block type, while quotes are usually shorts and rarely multiline, and code is usually many lines. (Project)
