Source acceptance and behavior
Space Settings shows privacy. The private subtitle says only invited people can access the space and content; the public subtitle says the space is visible to everyone and content is public by default.
Sharing settings can also be opened from the homepage via (⋯) → Share space access.
Public spaces include writers who edit, members who read and have joined, and email subscribers who receive updates; private spaces include invited writers who edit and invited members who read.
The member list displays everyone with access and their role. Admins can change roles and remove access; writers can do so except for admins.
Admins can toggle Public or Private in Space Settings.
For Public to Private, warn that link sharing will be disabled and require confirmation. The source also permits making either the entire space or selected documents private.
For Private to Public, warn that all space content will become visible and require confirmation.
Private spaces have email-only invitations and no link sharing; in the stated first stage, people are found by searching existing Seed accounts.
Public spaces allow email invitations or a shareable link.
In private spaces, Space Settings shows pending invitations, an option to resend each, and whether each user can access the entire space or only specific documents.
