Problem
Documents show the discussion at the bottom but it is hard to see how this discussion relates to the document history and the activity of children documents.
Solution
The Discussion section should be replaced with an Activity section at the bottom of the document. The activity section should show:
Changes to the document
Discussions
Activity on children documents
New discussion box
Note:
Version history may be collapsed if there was several versions that happened in immediate succession
New items go to the bottom of the list
If there are too many old items, there will be a button to expand older items
Scope
One week of frontend work. This may not be very high performance, but we can improve that later
Rabbit Holes
Ordering the Activity Section will be tricky. For example, if a new comment reply happens, does it bump the comment up to the top of the list?
