It's really hard to navigate conversations in comments because replies are folded, and when expanded the rest of the comments disappear and only this thread occupies the whole view. I'm not sure why are we doing that, and it seems like we could expand and collapse replies in place.

I'm getting a bit nauseous navigating around multiple threads.

The major pain is that there's no way to have multiple threads expanded — you have to go back and forth, and the scroll position gets reset all the time.
