Option 1. Permission for member can be accessed on a new panel when the publisher or any of their collaborator start editing a site.

Joining will be the single experience that will combine add a contact and Subscribe. The parameters of how strict or how permissive the member role provided to the user by joining will be determined by the sites administrators.

If the user Joins a site that is set to “Open membership” then they will gain the access set my that role. They will get told on the notification what permissions they have gained according to what has been set on the site. A new event will appear on the site feed notifying about the new member.

If the user tries to join a site that is set to “Invite Only” then they will have to send a request for access permission. The site administrator will get email notifications about the request and they will be able to accept of deny it on the “Document Access” previously the collaborator panel on the pending tab.
