I am clicking the library all the time. It becomes my home. I use it to find new content, search, and navigate across sites. I wish I could search the library too, to search my node with proper real estate to screen the results. Now that we have discovered how similar search and feed are, it could make sense to call it home, as we would be combining both user goals.
Currently, I need to open the sidebar all the time just to access the library, which ends up requiring a lot of clicks. What if we add the home/library icon to the top, replacing the current search?
Library (or we could call it home) on top bar:
We could make the current search, what it really is, a quick launcher by clicking cmd+K
And we still have the Site Search, (being cleaner and less conflicting) with the current search:
this search is a Contextual Search
