Lets work together and build consistent interactions and visual language across the whole app!
Right now, you can hover over things in the app, and you will see other elements highlight when they match. For example, when you hover an embedded block from a comment, the block highlights in the main view. When you hover over a document that is open in another window, the document window highlights.
"Matching Element" Highlight
This highlight color means "this is the same thing as you are hovering over"
"Active Element" Highlight
Sometimes a URL wants you to focus on a single block from the comment or document. So when you click on that block, the block will scroll into view and it sill have a certain background color
"Citing Element" Highlight
If you hover over a block or document, and a comment or document that is citing that document, it can highlight in a special color
Finding Highlight
When searching for text with Cmd-F, it should have a distinct color because it has a unique behavior
Unread Highlight
When some content is unread, it should have a distinct visual language that is consistent across the app
