Users (e.g., Antonio, Kilian, and Gabo) are complaining that when they copy a link in the desktop app and paste it into Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, or another external system, they must manually remove the version parameter every time.

One of our Principles is fixing broken links on the web. I understand that removing the version from the link doesn't break our principle; however, it diminishes our security model. What do we do?
