Digital Artifacts Archival

The Digital Humanities Community is showing a lot of interest in Seed Hypermedia. They aim to utilize the system as both a knowledge repository and a collaboration tool. They are used to collaborating at scale, so Seed Hypermedia is precisely what they need.

However, like any other knowledge community, they have specific requirements for their knowledge creation process. I find this one specifically exciting: how to archive, retrieve, and, in this case, run digital artifacts. Examples of these digital artifacts include digital books, comics, and digital art. They are composed of some HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files.

    Run Digital Artifacts

In Seed Hypermedia is very easy to archive files; hence, archiving these files should be very easy. The hard part is running them! Initially, I was devastated as I thought it was a challenging problem. However, perhaps there are easier solutions to run encapsulated JavaScript than I initially thought. Let's do some research!

    Web Archiving

I find this problem interesting because it is a concrete problem for a broader issue. Web Archiving!
